LAUSD Families

Lausd offers many programs for families. Parents and teachers come together for programs that involve their child’s learning such as the Parent, Community, and Student Services that help parents understand what their child is learning and what teachers can do to help their child. They also engage in activities to help the parent, teacher, and student relationship. There are also volunteer programs for parents so that they can help arrange activities for their child’s school. Parents can also join the parents advisory committee so that they ca review things about the school and give advice on how to make it better.

LAUSD: Students

Lausd offers students many opportunities to have fun before or after school. They have the opportunity to participate in beyond the bell, along with other activities. Parents also benefit in lausd’s services because they get to see report cards and receive handbooks so that they can understand what is going on in their school. They also get informed on bullying and what they can do if their child is getting bullied. Students also get information on graduation requirements and DACA. All of these student services benefit us students because we are informed on everything that goes on in our school and we have the opportunity to participate in after or before school activities that can benefit our learning.
