specializes is creating illustrations so that their patients clearly understand
an illness and how it affects them.
Salary: $62,000-$100,000 annually
Education: To become a medical illustrator, you must have a
master’s degree from an accredited two-year graduate program. They must take
courses in anatomy, pathology, microanatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, and
embryology along with many others.
Reflection: I would not like to become a medical illustrator
because I don’t think that this is the right job for me. I am not a very good
artist and being a good illustrator is basically all that this job does.
