Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities: a medical illustrator specializes is creating illustrations so that their patients clearly understand an illness and how it affects them.

Salary: $62,000-$100,000 annually

Education: To become a medical illustrator, you must have a master’s degree from an accredited two-year graduate program. They must take courses in anatomy, pathology, microanatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, and embryology along with many others.

Reflection: I would not like to become a medical illustrator because I don’t think that this is the right job for me. I am not a very good artist and being a good illustrator is basically all that this job does.
