Reporter
Duties and Responsibilities: A reporter collects and
analyzes information from newsworthy events and broadcasts it to the world on TV.
They organize materials and write stories according to their prescribed
editorial style. They may also take photographs about what they are evaluating.
Salary: $36,227 annually
Education: To become a reporter, you must have completed
high school and gone to a college or university to receive a master’s degree in
journalism. They must also go through a
Bachelor’s in Science in Mass Communication program.
Reflection: I would like to become a reporter because it
seems like a job that I see myself having in the future. Having a career like
this has always been a dream of mine.
