The Six Pillars of Character

The six pillars of character are:
·        Trustworthiness
·        Respect
·        Responsibility
·        Fairness
·        Caring
·        Citizenship

·        Trustworthiness: To be trustworthy, you must always be honest and never lie to anyone. For example, if a friend tells you one of their secrets and tells you not to tell anyone, you must always keep your promise of not telling anyone.

·        Respect: You also have to be respectful to others and always respect their decisions and what they want to do. For example, if your teacher tells you to do something then you must do it without talking back to them to show that you respect them.

·        Responsibility: You must also take responsibility for your actions. For example, if you broke something at you house, you must take responsibility and admit to what you did and not blame it on somebody else.

·        Fairness: To be fair you must always be honest in what you do. For example, if you are playing a game you must always be fair and never cheat.

·        Caring: You must always care for yourself and others around you. For example, you can always help other.

·        Citizenship: To become a good citizen, you can help your community.

Reflection: These six pillars of character can really help us be a better person and help us lead a successful life.
