Ambulance Dispatcher
Duties and responsibilities: Ambulance dispatchers work
under the direction of the Director of Communication, or Dispatch Supervisor. They
also coordinate all ambulance transports and emergencies.
Salary: $21,593-$51,168
Education: To become an ambulance dispatcher you must graduate
high school or an equivalent, have 6 months minimum of dispatch experience, and
they must be certified. Additionally they must provide credentials through the
state Department of Health or the Department of Transportation.
Reflection: I would like to become one because I would love to help people if there is a fire or any other emergency. Other than that it looks like a very interesting job.
