            Counseling/Psychotherapy

Duties and responsibilities: Psychotherapists work with individuals, families, couples, and groups to help overcome a range of psychological and emotional issues. They use personal treatment plans and a variety of non-medical-based treatments to address the feelings and behavior and understand the inner conflict of the clients.

Salary: $62,347 annually

Education: They must receive a master’s degree in clinical psychology and they must also work with an emphasis on psychotherapy.  They must also take the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology and pass it. Other than that every state requires psychotherapists to obtain a state license before practicing.

Reflection: I would not like to become one because it doesn't seem like an interesting job. If I would I think that I wouldn't be able to help very much if I worked as a psychiatrist.
