Duties and
Responsibilities: They collaborate with health specialists and civic groups to
determine the ability of service, health needs, and they develop goals for
meeting needs. They also assign and conduct evaluations and diagnostic studies to
assess the quality and performance of health programs.
Salary: $41,830
annually
Education: For
someone to become a health educator, they must have a bachelor’s degree in
health education and promotion. They must complete a brief period of in-the-job
training and they must be certified by the National Commission for Health
Education Credentialing.
Reflection: I
would not like to be a health educator because it doesn't seem like that is the
career I would like to have in the future.
